Capturing Floating Space: Live, a night of live audio and conversation from award-winning producer Katie Stokes, in the Roundhouse, London’s historic music venue.

Themed around Katie’s Floating Space documentary series, the event discussed third places in London and the critical lack of affordable and accessible social spaces for young people, hearing from Deputy Mayor for Communities and Social Justice Dr Debbie Weekes-Bernard and Chanté Joseph, journalist and founder of Strangers in the City.

With a listening segment featuring audio pieces about communities’ third places, and a booth for the audience to share their own in real time, this event balanced an intellectual rigour with a distinctly artistic warmth.
